As part of the EYFS each key person makes observations, assessments and plans for each individual child to help your child progress through the foundation stage. We record this information in your child’s learning journal which can be accessed online through a program called ‘Tapestry’.

Tapestry is a system, which is hosted in the UK on secure servers. You will have secure access (via email address and password) to your child's Learning Journal. In addition to viewing our contributions, we encourage you to add to it by uploading photos and comments or commenting on observations made by us.

When your child starts at the setting we will set up an account for you using an email address you provide at registration. You will then receive an email with a link to set-up the password to your account (please note this link is only active for 24 hours so you will need to access your account within 24 hours of receiving the email).

To access Tapestry either use the link above or go to https://eylj.org on your computer. If you have an iPhone or iPad, visit the iTunes store and download the Tapestry app from the Education section (search for TapestryMobile). Tapestry can also be downloaded on Android devices.

​If you do not have access to the internet we can arrange access at the preschool; please speak to your child’s key person to arrange a suitable time.
